2025 Schedule Announcement!
HiDOC is excited to kick off 2025 with classes beginning March 20th!
Our first session: will run from March 20th to May 1st, offering a 7-week course with classes held every consecutive Thursday, unless otherwise specified.
Location: All classes are held at: Sgt. Steve Owen Memorial Park, 10th St. West and K-8, Lancaster, CA.
Classes meet on the open grass area north of the children's playground.

Can’t make it to in-person sign-ups?
No problem!
Simply download the class application, complete it, and email it along with proof of vaccines to hidoc.training@gmail.com.
Once we receive your application, we’ll send you class instructions and generate a payment request.
Vaccination Requirements: For the safety of all dogs, proof of Rabies, Parvo, and Distemper vaccinations are required.
Discounts are offered for active military personnel, senior citizens, service dogs in training, and dogs rescued from Shelters or Rescues (with proof).

Cost: $90.00 for 7 week session
Prerequisite: Dogs 6 months of age and older
The night of the first class is for handlers only.
Bring your dog starting the second class.
If your dog is not coming to you, he should be coming to us!

Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Course
Cost: $60.00 for a 6-week session
Dates: Session 2 – May 15 to June 24
Time: 7:00 PM – 7:50 PM

Course Overview:
Earn your dog’s AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) title and showcase their good manners at home and in the community! This class includes six weeks of instruction and practice covering the ten required skills. On the fifth week, an AKC-approved evaluator will conduct the CGC test.
Cost: $60.00 for 5 week session
Prerequisite: Basic Obedience and/or CGC
Have some fun with your dog and keep his/her mind working! Young dogs, old dogs, all dogs – and their owners - can enjoy trick training. It's all positive, using food rewards and the joy of doing something together. Come join us for some fun, relaxed training with your doggie buddy learning a few old tricks and some new ones! Be sure to bring a supply of training treats!
This is a FIVE WEEK class. Fee is $60.00
A minimum of three students is required to hold this class.
Class size is limited to ten students.
No prong collars allowed.

Rally Beginner Course
Cost: $90.00 for a 7-week Course (Pre-registration discounts available)
Dates: Session 2 – May 15 to June 24
Time: 6:00PM-7:30PM

This class is ideal for those new to Rally who want to learn the signs and skills needed to confidently compete in AKC trials.
Prong collars are allowed; however, harnesses are not permitted.

Introduction to Scentwork
Cost: $90.00 for a 7-week Course

What does it take for your dog to become a detective? Canine scentwork is a fun activity for virtually all dogs and their people. It’s easy to learn, and builds confidence and focus in dogs. It provides a great way to keep dogs fit and healthy through mental and physical exercise. It can be a great “retirement” sport for the older canine athlete.
Class size is limited to eight students, with a minimum of 3 to proceed.
The night of the first class is for handlers only. Bring your dog starting the second class.
Michelle Clifton is an AKC multi-award winner, with a history of training and raising dogs to be competitive winners. Michelle believes every dog has the right to obedience and a proper education.
Lynda Peppyl is a former Australian Shepherd breeder and multi-award winning AKC competitor. Lynda's work with HiDoC also includes running our annual eye clinic.
Angelique Milillo is passionate about helping puppies develop into well-behaved companions. At High Desert Obedience Club, she guide pups and their owners through positive reinforcement training, focusing on foundational skills and building a strong bond; all while having fun !
