Basic Novice
Cost: $90.00 for a 7-week Course

Prerequisite: Dogs must be 6 months or older.
Training Focus:
- Fun, reward-based training techniques
- Teaching on-leash control
- Problem-solving and building a well-mannered pet
- Dogs under 12 months can earn the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy award!
Week one is for handler orientation. Please leave your furry companion at home and bring them starting in week two!

INTRODUCTION TO AKC RALLY
Rally Beginner Course
Cost: $90.00 for a 7-week Course (Pre-registration discounts apply)

Prerequisites:
- Dogs must have solid basic skills and/or instructor approval.
- Class size is limited to 6 students, with a minimum of 3 to proceed.
Course Details:
This class is ideal for those new to Rally who want to learn the signs and skills needed to confidently compete in AKC trials.
Prong collars are allowed; however, harnesses are not permitted.

Scentwork
Introduction to Scent work
Cost: $90.00 for a 7-week Course

Prerequisites:
- Dogs must be 6 months of age or older
- Dogs must be comfortable in a crate or waiting calmly on a bed or blanket.
- 1 dog per handler
Course Details:
What does it take for your dog to become a detective? Canine scent work is a fun activity for virtually all dogs and their people. It’s easy to learn and builds confidence and focus in dogs. It provides a great way to keep dogs fit and healthy through mental and physical exercise. It can be a great “retirement” sport for the older canine athlete.
Week one is for handler orientation. Please leave your furry companion at home and bring them starting in week two!
Class size is limited to eight students, with a minimum of 3 to proceed.
Cancellations within one week are refundable, minus a $25 fee.

CANINE GOOD CITIZEN (CGC)
Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Course

- Successful completion of HiDOC's Basic Novice Obedience course or solid obedience skills.
- Class is limited to 6 students.
Course Overview:
Earn your dog’s AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) title and showcase their good manners at home and in the community! This class includes six weeks of instruction and practice covering the ten required skills. The students have the opportunity to be tested at week five by the instructor if they feel they are ready.

TRICKS
Tricks Course
Cost: $60.00 for a 5-week course

Time: 6:00 PM – 6:50 PM
Prerequisite:
- Basic Obedience and/or CGC
- No Prong collars allowed
Have some fun with your dog and keep his/her mind working! Young dogs, old dogs, all dogs – and their owners - can enjoy trick training. It's all positive, using food rewards and the joy of doing something together. Join us for some fun, relaxed training with your doggie buddy learning a few old tricks and some new ones! Be sure to bring a supply of training treats!
A minimum of three students is required to hold this class.
Class size is limited to ten students.
