The High Desert Obedience Club (HiDOC) was founded in 1981 in Lancaster, California, by a group of passionate dog enthusiasts. As a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, HiDOC is dedicated to promoting responsible dog ownership and offering educational programs to help owners effectively train their canine companions.
Our mission is simple: to provide every dog with a good education, and to build confidence and companionship between dogs and handlers.
Our trainers offer years of experience in proven methods of obedience training along with extensive knowledge of dealing with both pure and mixed breed dogs in solving typical behavior problems.
**Our third session of 2025 begins July 17th!
HiDOC offers group training classes in obedience, Canine Good Citizen, rally, agility, nosework, and more open to the general public and the competition minded. HiDOC trainers, most of which are active competitors, provide the most up to date training methods and knowledge in the AV. Classes are designed for your dog's age & skill level from Puppy Preschool and Beginning Obedience through Competition Level Training.
We also offer discounts to veterans, fosters, and shelter dogs.
The CGC Test is to demonstrate that the dog as a companion of man, can be a respected member of the community, and can be trained and conditioned to always behave in the home, in public places, and in the presence of other dogs.
Our 6-week class will prepare you and your dog to take the test (included in the course).
