Tricks Class - Pre-Registration Is Required

AKC is now offering Trick Dog titles, see http://www.akc.org/trick-dog/ for details.  All AKC registered dogs, including mixed breeds with Canine Partners registration can earn this title. For more info see http://www.akc.org/dog-owners/canine-partners/ .

HiDOC will offer the tricks class with Kyle Trumbull-Clark for 5 weeks beginning July 13th and ending August 10th.  This class had to be cancelled due to insufficient enrollment during the 2017 2nd class session.  As a result, pre-registration for tricks class will be required so that we know in advance whether or not the minimum of 6 participants (max 10) has been achieved.  Pre-registration will consist of printing & completing the class application, enclosing your check for $60 made out to HiDOC and mailing to: HiDOC PO Box 2901, Lancaster, CA 93539.  Applications must be received by July 11th for the July 13th start.  Shot records may be brought to the first night of class for verification.  If the class is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, you will be notified via email prior to July 13th

The week following the completion of the tricks class, August 17th from 6 to 7 PM, a CGC evaluator will be available to test your dog for the Novice Trick Dog title.  At this time only the Novice title will be tested.  This is to give as many people who wish to test an opportunity to do so in the limited time available. Tricks class participants will be given the first opportunities for testing. There will be a fee of $10 for testing. Forms must be printed from the AKC website (see above) and brought with you. Evaluators will not have extra forms. If there is sufficient interest, an additional opportunity for trick dog testing may be offered later this year.
